We always recommend inviting those whose presence is essential to your “yes” moment. Finding your gown can be unexpected, and it’s not always easy to recreate that feeling later. Surround yourself with the people you genuinely want to share that joy with, so you can be fully present—without wishing someone important was present.
Keeping your group intimate is key to having clarity. Too many opinions can quickly become overwhelming and cause confusion as you are choosing. We’ve found that a group of 3–6 guests creates the perfect balance of support, celebration, while keeping the focus on you.
We want to encourage you to bring the people who will support your vision, not steer it. Bringing guests who understand your style and will uplift your decision with honesty and kindness helps you feel confident in your decision.

Children and larger groups can sometimes make it harder to stay present during your appointment, so we recommend planning accordingly to keep your experience relaxed and fun.
After watching thousands of appointments and helping hundreds of brides find their dream dress we can honestly tell you the brides with less people feel more confident and enjoy the moment more. The most well intentioned opinions are often personal opinions and not necessarily what you are wanting for your dress. We often encourage our brides to remember your dress is a self expression of who you are and as long as you stay true to yourself and feel that wow feeling as you look in the mirror you can not make a wrong choice!
